About Us

The Crown & Victoria is a family orientated pub. Mark Hilyard and his business partner Isabel Thomas took over the pub in December 2006. They have worked very hard over the past few years to offer excellent culinary delights at affordable prices. In October 2008 their efforts were rewarded with an AA Rosette for the pubs quality of food that has been prepared with care, understanding and skill using good-value, wholesome, organic and free-range ingredients.

The pub is open 7 days a week from 11am to midnight.

Food is served Monday to Saturday, 12pm to 2:30pm for lunch & 6:30pm to 9:30pm for dinner. On Sundays there is an array of exciting roasts to choose from as well as fresh fish dishes and vegetarian options. Roasts are served from 12.00 pm until 2.30 pm and from 2.30 pm until 5.00 pm our normal lunch time menu is available. To see what great dishes we are currently serving, please click this link.

We have a function room that caters for parties for all sizes and occasions.

The pub is situated amidst a beautiful sweeping garden, of willow trees and scenic delights. You can often hear the call of many types of birds when sat relaxing in our beer garden.

We have extensive parking situated to the rear of the pub and nicely hidden out of sight from our pleasurable beer garden.

We have an excellent fully stocked bar with all of your favourite beverages and alcohlic treats. We also have some local speciality ales, which we have listed to the left.
